Naah. Sleeper Festiva. Put the quietest mufflers you can find on there and have an electric cutout in the downpipe so you can terrify unsuspecting onlookers with turbo Mazda engine noises.
So I have project dyslexia. I was installed my advanced rear suspension bits and I decided my trunk cargo space was hideous. So I started sanding and painting and cut out those rear seat supports. Then I decided I wanted to have conversations while driving my car so I ordered 36sqft of 80mil thick peel and stick sound damper and I'm making a trunk insert to go on top of the sound damper and spare tire holder so it all didn't get messed up when I put stuff in the trunk. Foam, wood, with carpet on the top. that original trunk paint was totally wrekt. Green was original, black is new. Not pretty, but a good barrier.
Thanks, that was a product of love. Hopefully I can find a spare tire that supports that part, the design isn't strong enough to self support with no tire.
here's a picture of my sound damping pad, it's shiny, and some of it painted with black plasti dip. I didn't want the look in the trunk so it needed painted. I'm going to do a good portion of the wheel well, and some of the trunk lid. But not too much because the trunk lid needs to self support in the up position and this stuff is at least a pound per square foot.
got these pretties in the mail today. Maybe I'll have all the parts together to start the build this weekend.
