Had anyone here done an obd2 swap before. I'd be totally brave enough to tackle a project like that. But it'd have to be worth it in my mind. Like oem ecu tune capability, like gm had on all their obd2 ecus with hptuners.

The cobalts have a similar boosted 4 cylinder setup that should have great user tuning ability. Marrying one of those ecus to a 94 bpt?

But I always have that megasquirt I'm afraid to try. Should megasquirt 3 offer better tuning than oem gm applications? Mine has a map sensor built in

Hartstiva has been having intermittent starting issues. I found the ground bolt from the head to the chassis to be 6 turns loose and the strut pillar was painted. That doesn't work. Battery to chassis wire was rusted. Main fuseable link was all kinds of gross. What do you guys do with those fuseable links. Rewire with actual fuses?

Replace with cartridge fuses, typically recovered from a JY visit, but available new from nearly any McParts place.

Type for a once every twenty years wire wheel cleanup job.
Guaranteed to start first time, every time.

So those male side of the fuse able links pull out the bottom of that black holder. Then wire brush, and the long legged fuse deals from mcparts

Don't stop there. Wire wheel all of your ground points. Time for a twenty year electrical ground cleaning.

I just converted my aspire motor to obd1, just use the festiva intake/tb, distributor and vaf on the aspire b3.

stripped o2 threads. I used this custom made end cap and some safety wire to really get it in there snug. Put high temp silicone on the thread to seal it up. It was pull out loose, now I can't even get it to budge. I guess this could make a decent quick fix for someone in this predicament that doesn't have a new manifold on hand

what's this hose. It has oil in it. Looks like it comes from the oil pressure sensor deal

Are you asking what this is for?
If so it's for a aftermarket mechanical oil pressure gauge.
It threads into the block where you stock pressure sensor screwed in.

Huh. I figured the electronics gauge would be close to the block. I wanted to make sure that it wasn't like this from the factory.
