Not a bad idea, but I'd really like to do the dash spot. On the middle dash. But they could have to be enclosed, I don't want to see the backing of the gauges

So I'm still working on my turbo build. Today I made a 2.5 gallon tank I can hide behind my seats. I made it from pvc and it'll have a remote fill from the trunk. I still need to buy an fmu for my methanol injection, im not doing any fuel enhancement from the normal fuel injectors. Pvc is very resistant to methanol in case you are wondering

Well technically you're a sub compact so.....
Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

made some progress on supporting mods. Here's the list of the glove box cluster : boost pressure at the turbo. Boost pressure at the manifold. Oil pressure. Fuel pressure. Water methanol injection pressure. Oil temp. And a black seventh hole. Any ideas? I don't really consider a volt gauge vital info. And who doesn't want to see their fuel pressure rise in proportion to their fmu. The inovative wideband will go up in the direct line of sight. Because I consider this the most important gauge. Maybe on the steering column. Maybe under the dash bonnet in front of the fuel gauge. That would be nice and hidden.

you guys would laugh if you saw how i cut that plastic piece to shape of the glove box. a drill bit, in a dremel....it was terribly difficult. but, a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do, with the tools he has to do it with.

Gotta do what you gotta do! There are some things on my swap that are a little rough around the edges, can always go back and fix things lol.

Looks pretty good for a drill bit job.
I could never do this my glove box is always full of junk lol.

I would think your exhaust gas temp would be of importance.

all the gauges. I was thinking about doing some version of a infrared back light activator. Where I have some infrared leds in that panel that reflect off the inside of the glove box when it's closed and an optocoupler to deactivate the circuit when it's closed. But I think a simple pressure switch might be better. Or just a normal toggle switch. So I can choose when the lights are on or off

half inch drill bit, 9/16 tap. Maybe 25 wrappings of thread tape. Makes it nice and snug.

So if you haven't seen my intake manifold project, you will soon, I ordered the last piece I need to get it completed. In a predicament. I'd really like to have a sweet piece of love like this "chilling" in my engine bay.

But... I don't think I have room on the passenger side engine bay. I know pre turbo vaf isn't ideal because of rich fuel during shifts. The big question. If my tb was right over the transmission, and I couldn't get the throttle cable to connect due to it being too long, could I trim some off to make it the right length.

Yeah, nice piece. The cable can be changed. A 323 cable would be better for you
