festiva 1.jpgpicked up this little beaut just yesterday. driving home from work i saw it on the side of the road with for sale sign in the window. $1000. brand new tires. recent rebuilt engine. fun fresh paint. body is in great condition. interior maybe a 7 out of 10. i think this car was a steal for the price. its a 93. first rounds of mods will go to rio suspension probably. i really like my front rio shocks on my aspire. then maybe chop some spring perchs and enjoy the low life.

What are those seats? I'd guess Aspire, but I'd likely be wrong.

Congrats, my man! Looks like a steal for $1k.

Now I have an aspire and a festiva. Switching between cars and different feeling clutch peddles is the worst.

Grats on the new ride! I have seen this car around, I missed an opportunity to buy it at Christmas time last year (too slow). Glad you got it! Best of luck with it

theres a huge difference between this particular festiva brake feel, and my aspires brakes. it supposedly has "new brakes" all the way around. but i find myself giving it alot more peddle when im coming to a stop. is this because of the inferior brake booster? and weak calipers?

whomever puts the seats in the car that are currently in there set them up for a very tall person. i figured i had the seat all the way back, but with a little persuasion i found how far it can go back. i found myself almost uncomfortable reaching for the wheel and im 6'3". which is by far not an issue in my mind.

No. Smaller rotors and smaller drums. That's why we always recommend Aspire suspension swaps for our Festivas, rather that replacing inferior solid rotors and press out bearings.

I'm super interested in taking a b8 swap to the max. Has anyone with a b8 swap built their engine? Ported and polished head. Stock rotating? I didn't see many parts online for this engine. I'd assume it's because people build bp engines.
