Labor of Love. It was worth every hour of time spent sanding and welding and cutting and sanding and filing and smoothing and pressing and.... haha. These wheels fit this car perfectly and ride soo nice. You know it's a good setup when you get home from a 6000+ mile road trip and still want to jump in the car and go places. lol

When I paint Pedro, I will also paint the wheels to match the car color.
I made the Ford centercaps from some mustang bullet caps with new decals that I ordered from ebay. The wheels were originally built for a mid 70's BMW 320i. These O.Z. turbines are rare as hens teeth, and I've always wanted a white set.
I can't even imagine the work going into straightening them. Weld the dents up, turn it on a lathe and cut and sand the extra material off?

Pedro and I spent the day exploring the Smokey Mountians. It was a beautiful day.

I forgot to update a few things on the build. I installed a 110mph speedo, and a Pioneer DEH X8700 BH head unit. I also installed a 5 channel ppi amplifier under the drivers seat.

Then my lovely Assistant, Angie, helped me fix up the back of Pedro. We removed the seat supports, sprayed the panels with rubberised sound deadener and made panels for the sides and floor. The side panels have 6x9 and 5.25 speakers. The floor is covered in foam diamond plate and folds in the middle for access to the spare tire.
This made a nice place for me to sleep. I'm actually laying comfortably in the back of Pedro right now, as I write this somewhere between Amarillo and OKC.

    Update on Pedro.
This car is an amazing highway cruiser. I've been getting around 40mpg at speeds between 80-90mph. The car is smooth as silk and effortlessly cruises at 100mph with this 5 speed e series swap.
    Here's a picture from somewhere in N.M.

Thanks I have mine in and running, I kept it simple and used all capri stuff. I did run mine threw the fender like you did to keep from cut in a hole in the fire wall.
Now I just need a small battery and some cable to make it to the passenger side. I found a duralast version of the super crank for 60 bucks! online. But I'm dieing to drive it and the battry is 4 days away lol.

Sorry about taking so long to answer this. I just saw it.

The big plug allows me to unplug the engine to take it out without removing each individual plug from the engine. It's a 90-93 Festiva engine plug that I put in there.
I didn't use the Capri main engine relay. I replaced it with 2 30A Bosch relays. 1 relay powers the ignition and injectors, the other powers the ECM, purge valve and a few other small engine related things. The two relays now live where the original festiva ECM was. I'll see if I've got a picture saved.

Thanks Ryal! I'm still recovering from all the excitement, haha. When I get a spare evening, I'll process that video and put it up on YouTube.

Charlie, it was great to have You down with Pedro! I'm sure Carolyn will want to share her thoughts on her test drive, I'll ask her tomorrow.
For the record, Inde Motorsports Ranch, configuration 3, with eyebrow, no chicane at start/finish, fastest lap ever
#88 car, B6, racing slicks, 1'54"413, Charlie driving
Kermit, Mazda 2, racing slicks, 2'04"56, Carolyn driving
Pedro, B6, street tyres, 2'03"01, Charlie driving

PS, the video is great! This will never get old,
