That's what I was thinking. I'm pretty sure that around 4500 it just ignores the vaf reading. With the larger injectors I could do a steady part throttle acceleration and every time it hit 4500 it would go from 14 to 9.

Maybe a few lbs more pressure and lean the VAF. The VAF doesn't affect fueling in the higher part of the rev range because it's usually pegged wide open by then. I haven't messed with the b3 VAF, but other systems I've tuned had it maxed out before 5k rpm.

Charlies recommendation he posted it in one of his threads somewhere. I tried to find the exact post for you but I'm lazy and gave up after a few minutes lol.

Adjustable fpr is in with a set of festiva injectors. No pic because I did a real hack install just to try it out. Set it around 45 psi with the vaf set 2 clicks richer. Runs way better but afr aren't as consistent at part throttle. 11:1 at part throttle 3.5k rpm but if I open throttle more it'll lean out. At wot it stays in the 14 range but ends up about 15 near redline. Ill play with it for a little longer but I'm close to just giving up and throwing a megasquirt at it. I just sent out my spare injectors to be cleaned today so we'll see what happens when they get back in week or 2.

The weird quirky parts are dead but most of their electronics live on. Most of GMs communication protocals and networks are based off of saab tech. They used a bunch of their connector designs too. A lot of the connectors in first gen cts have saab stamped on them lol.

They pissed off GM too much by being too brand specific after GM handed them their chassis.

I'm still seeing old 900 turbos popping up in our junk yards out here with 300k+ miles on them. That's a sign that these were reliable cars if they are still on the road. It's too bad the company is now gone.

All depends on year/model and how well they've been maintained. All the problems with mine have been self inflicted. The mid 90s 900 and 9000 can do 400hp on a stock bottom end. I put pistons in my later engine and it should be good for 600 now.

Can see why the saab was only making 15lbs on a gt3071 lol.

Rolled the fenders again and adjusted the rear wheel bearings. Only rubs over real bad bumps and mid corner bumps now. Found a bunch of play in my LF wheel bearing so I'm trying to rebuild my spare knuckles. That's probably what's been causing my vibration. Adjustable fpr is on the way but I think I better send my spare injectors out to be cleaned while I'm at it. All while trying to fix all the exhaust leaks on the saab.
