So the local shops would not touch the exhaust because its not legal! So i had to fix my welder and do it myself. Turns out im not all that bad once i fixed the welder. I was getting a jumping wire. I fixed the block that holds the cable in place and boom i can weld again. Was using flux core for exhaust pipe so its ugly but its on and looks like it will hold.

Don't want all of the "Expert Welders" criticizing your work???
So I don't think I have ever seen it on here but so claimed "Expert Welders" seem to be some of the meanest people on the internet... Always putting someone down for trying something new. I watched a YouTube video the other day of an amateur explaining some of the things that he has learned about welding to help other beginners and 90% of the comments were people putting the guy down because his welds weren't perfect... Telling him he should just give up because they can weld better than that with their eyes closed.

A lot of guys who claim to be "experts" on the Internet are quite the opposite in real life. Even the highest paid welder on the planet started off putting globs of metal on a plate somewhere. Showing your welds to an experienced welder is a good way to get helpful hints and time saving tricks.
Getting a pretty weld from a low amperage Flux cored setup is very difficult though, even for a pro. Great job in diagnosing the problem with your welder. Setup, and machine operation are a big part of making quality welds.Last edited by Advancedynamix; 06-24-2016, 12:57 PM.Driving for me is neither a right nor a privilege. So i went and got a large 200 amp battery charger. I killed my 50 amp. Im gonna try to rewire the stock plugs in place and just jump the new ecu wires in the old stuff. I dont know why im not getting anything tho. I have tried every wire combo! Im done with it for today. Ill get back at it tomorrow.
So tired and run down. Been in the garage since Thursday with little rest.
Not gonna make my autocross race. Super not happy about that!!!1990 (LUCIFER 2.0) fully built BP+T with E153, Fueltech FT500, traction control with hopes of 600hp (i drank to much of the KOOL-AID)

So i have hooked the stock wires back to the CAS. If i touch the ecu wires that should go to the CAS to a ground that make the fuel pump prime and it gives me an orange light on my ecu (i need that). But it only comes on while the fuel pump is primed.
No clue whats up just yet. Im working on it tho. Its not going to be as hot this week maybe ill be able to figure it out soon.1990 (LUCIFER 2.0) fully built BP+T with E153, Fueltech FT500, traction control with hopes of 600hp (i drank to much of the KOOL-AID)

So to update you guys! Due to using a Microtech ECU i must swap distributors to the BP ones. I also must run an igniter from a BP. I should be picking up the parts today. I ordered them brand new to try and avoid any more issues. With the new dissy and igniter i should be able to get the car to idle finally. Once i have idle i need to setup the TPS and lock the timing to the ecu. If i dont hit anymore problems i should have the car able to idle tomorrow night. Not sure when i can get carlos to tune it but im very close now.1990 (LUCIFER 2.0) fully built BP+T with E153, Fueltech FT500, traction control with hopes of 600hp (i drank to much of the KOOL-AID)
