Thanks Rob. Mike took the time to put good suspension under this car, but he gave up on the stock b6t before correcting some vital issues. You CAN'T run these things with an open BOV and expect good results. The open exhaust is cute while your young and want attention, but it's not good for a well tuned b6t and I haven't had good luck with chipped ECUs on the b6t because over 7k rpm with 16psi or more, they will destroy the turbo in a hurry. Mike never felt a well tuned b6t with the stock systems in place. If he had then he would understand where I'm coming from. The b6t is a very well designed package from the factory, and it's often screwed up by people throwing crappy parts and bad ideas at it. Big charge coolers, big charge tubing, open BOV, open exhaust and too much rpm really hurt the performance of these great engines. It really saddens me to see some of the things people do to "improve" an awesome package.
After driving a 300hp BPT festiva out here back to back with Tweak, I was convinced that the car didn't need that kind of TQ for any sort of street driving or road coarse work (drag racing is a different story).
