Got it out in the open. Still needs more work but it runs. The stock B3 have hilarious amounts of blow by and the exhaust rattles a ton but it's moving under it's own power!

Got the upgraded rack swap. Need to buy new tierod ends and either find a new lower steering joint, or have mine milled down.



Got my engine on the stand ready for replacing gaskets.

Also no pictures but I ordered: Exedy clutch kit for the E series (sticking with it for now, I don't clutch drop so the transmission should be fine), Gasket kit, new thermostat, and a timing kit. Hopefully I can get everything done so I can start pulling the stock engine.

Bought some WRX seats I am hoping to fab into the car. They hug you really well and are comfy.

This isn't a woodruff key at all! Started tearing down the externals of the engine to do gaskets and found this surprise. Someone much have lost the woodruff key so he made another one out of a bit of metal. To Mazda tomorrow to order another one.

No pics yet but hoping to pick up a parts car on Monday before I go on vacation. 1988 LX 5 speed car, it's rusty but has some good parts.

And then there were two. 1988 LX 5 speed. Got it for some parts and a part-out you'll see on here soon enough. Interior is very clean, the exterior is an absolute rust bucket. The entirety of the frame rails are obliterated.

Decided that with the Advanced Suspension coilovers in the back and them being so soft rear seats don't really work anymore so I removed them, also removed the spare tire because it doesn't work with the Capri front brakes.



Got a bit annoyed at this dent so I wacked it with a rubber hammer a few times to make it less dented.

Haven't really had any time to work on the Festiva lately and finally got around it painting and installing the bumper I pulled from the parts Festiva. Only got to install the front so far.

Got the Cressida out of the garage and the Festiva into the garage. Got tired of the carb acting up so I'm going to expedite the motor swap a little bit. Little side project I'm doing is installing a set of 02 WRX seats I bought on the cheap.

1 bolt hole on the stock rails seem to line up, just going to have to make the rest of the mounts work. I've been working a lot on getting the B6T sealed up so that's been taking priority.

Started ripping apart the engine bay. Pulled the battery, battery tray (read: it broke on me), charcoal canister, carb hat, and some wiring, Hoping to get it more prepared tomorrow.


This stock motor has max blowby.

Do compression results indicate any broken rings?
