Hope you can take a little time off and everything will be better. I am pulling for you.

FF.COM is leauges beyond all other forums. VMOA (vmax forums), feoa (ford escort), ford muscle car forums, etc etc, all the car and motorcycle forums I visit fall FAR behind this site. If only for the COOL people. You almost have to be down to earth to drive a festiva.

Most here know I am a musicican and am obsessed with making music vids and posting them to youtube. If I had to choose between my music forums, other car forums, even youtube and this forum. Say I could only go to one website. IT would be this one. This is the most important website to me by FAR.

We miss you already Brian. Good luck. Let me and any number of people here know what we can do for you please.

Sorry if my opinionated butt caused part of this... That's why I haven't been posting since my debacle with GD. Didn't want to cause trouble.

        OK... back to silence.
Have had 6 Festys... and counting...

          quaddawg,
Don't think it was that alone, or any of the other 1/2 dozen, or so, minor issues by themselves!
Many of which members do not see on the board.
Did your issue with GD help, No!
Just too many other "incidents" taken together wears on a person!

Well I wanted to let everyone know....I finally got to talk with Brian. He is doing well and feeling much more relaxed. After a long talk he assured me that in no way will anyone have to worry about the site closing down. He said even if he was to call it quits he would not just close the site down. He knows there are plenty of people that would be willing to keep the site running.
Still not sure when we may see him back though....(sigh)

I'm going through some extremely trying times myself, so I can empathize with you, Brian. Just take a break and come back when you're ready. We'll be glad to have you back.

I am glad that FF.com isn't going away.... I don't know where I would go. I've been lurking here since 2003 and know there is an unrivaled wealth of knowledge about our beloved Festivas.

The community on this website is like a close knit family. We have our bad days and good days, but in the end we still have each others' backs. How many forums can boast that kind of cohesion?

In conclusion, Brian, you've done an awesome job taking over after DJ's passing. I really enjoy being a member here and I hope to see you back soon.

              Regards,

              Tim

Besides if you sell out, we all will, and there will be such a big glut of festivas on ebay that none of us will get anything for them. We will all quit causing trouble and start behaving, I promise, please stick around ! This site is something special !!
                    I agree with freshtiva a whole bunch !! :hello1:
I would not have found help and parts and just fun things to read and enjoy if it were not for the ford festiva site. I am only a short time member, but it all keeps me going with the '88 L wreck I am trying to revive.. :p
We need and should support one another in this world of crazies, and many cars models of the world. I hate to see these practical cars not get saved by us and others.
Best to you all, and have a great Thanksgiving too, next week !!

All I know is u r crazy in love with festivas and if you gave up this site, I think you might regret it!! I love you infinity dad. Lol, im gonna leave you with a REALLY cheesy quote...."Be optomistic, dont you be a grumpy...when the road gets bumpy, just smile, smile, smile and be happy!"
