for some reason (cold weather) my primer isn't drying very fast, so my blocking is going very slowly. it keeping "gumming" up my sand paper. not much progress to show since i primed it. should be spraying color this week tho, or this weekend at the latest.

Cubstiva, when you have a chance could you post a little write up on what supplies you used and process you took. I'll be doing the same thing in a few months and have no experience in bodywork at all. Maybe you could help me and others shed some light on how to do a great job like you seem to be doing. Thanks

                  Upddate, update, update!!!

well we finally had time to put some sealer and paint on the LX.

this truck was the hold up.

                  ok now for the update!

sealer ( i kinda liked this look)

                  First color

                  laying out tape and paper

                  Base coat

                  Top coat

                  with tape off pre-clear

and one last shot for the night (way to many fumes)

should have more pics tomorrow of it finished. my dad is clearing it tonight, i would still be there but needed to get my girls to bad. i can't wait to get it all back together.
