Who gets laughed at?

Oddly enough, I got raised eyebrows and obnoxious smirks until I fitted my 195/45-R15's. Steelies, matte black, no fancy chrome or nuthin'. It seems to be something about the proportions of the tiny stock tires/wheels that attracts more attention than anything. For me, at least. YMMV. FWIW.

OMG what a speaker setup! Do you run a 2nd alternator JUST for the sub's? LOL!! Like Sparky sez, about 140 dB SPL ought to be able to provide some additional forward thrust!

I have received some, let's say, negative comments from to time, but I'm used to it. I'll yell back "yeah, 58 screaming horsepower, baby!!" or something like that, and that makes 'em laugh. When you drive a car that some consider weird, that's what you get. If they only knew how fun these cars were!!

I get some good natured ribbing everyday. Wouldnt have it any other way. One guy at work alway sings " Viva Festiva" ( like the Viagra commerial song) when he sees me. I just nod and remind him that Festiva drivers dont need Viagra.

I think that you are right. There is only one other Festiva that I have seen here in my town. When I up to him the look on the guys face was priceless! It is like he has never seen another one on the road!

Hey - They call my car the clown car at work. I say - "yep this car keeps me laughing at all those people with their gas hogs - so who's the clown?"
Did anybody else notice how much better their Festivas looked when gas was $4.00 a gallon? Now that prices dropped back, my paint isn't quite as shiny - LOL!

i belive someone posted a pic of your car , they spotted it somewhere and was wonderin if the owner was on here. pretty sure it was yur car cuz it w as flat black wit a hatchet man on the back.

Well I had 4 festiva...... my fourth one will be ready in a few days.... Paint and mecanic works

The first one I had was white with pink racing strippes lol ( i bought it like that ) and I still went to high school.... so laughs where a big problem hahaha

the second one was blue but had a accident and it was totalled.... got laught because of that...

3rd kept it 2 years and laught everywhere I went... specially gas stations on fridays and saturday nights.....

But I replied often yeah well it might be small funny..... but its paid and I dont have to ask my parents to take it!

that usually shut them up...

4th one well I i am pretty sure it will get lots of laught because of the aqua blue

but like I said paid for and dont have to ask permission to take it

Also I enjoy driving a festiva.... its bone stock but fun to drive

I used to get laughed at. Then the B6 found a home under the hood of Rusty. They still laugh at the rust, but not for long. Got a ticket on I90 for doing 110mph in a 65 zone. I just show them the ticket. LOL

Haven't been laughed at in a while...The other day, a guy in a Corolla went by giving me a thumbs up...Just hope it wasn't sarcastic lol!!! When people laugh, I just usually drop it in 2nd gear and mash the throttle...Just the way the stock suspension make the car squat in the rear and the front end come up with a BP usually blanks those smiles out...
