*You barely remember the last time you filled your car with gas.

*You use more windshield washer fluid than fuel.

*You park your car at the rear of the parking space instead of pulling all the way up in order to find it in the crowded lot when you leave the store.

*You've swapped more "out-sourced" parts onto your car than an AMC and you consider a salvage yard "The land of opportunity".

*You install 15" rims on your car and they look like DUBS
If a hammer doesn't fix it you have an electrical problem

Haha! I wanna lift it and ride on 17s! Just kidding. God no.

As for the parts, this car only has about 60. Including engine internals

You're sitting at a stop light and a Corvette driver asks what kind of gas mileage you get, you reply, and then he says "I need to find one of those"!

And then you ask him if he wants to race and he won't take you serious.

I've thought my Festy was stolen on several occasions, just because it was hidden by a couple mid-sized cars that parked next to me. Now I have learned not to pull all the way forward in the parking spot!

I was getting off work one Sunday morning, and drove my daughter's Geo Metro, and I had 5 miles of straight-a-way to get to town, so I stepped on it to gain high rate of speed when I knew a co-worker had an 80's Corvette always roared around me doing 70 or better, and, well, I had the Geo up to near 65, and going strong, and he started gaining on me from the turn out of work, and I had the Geo up near 80, when he did fly past me, but I do it just to bug him and pi** him off, and the next week at work, he has to say, "You can't outrun my Corvette, quit yer tryin'"
But I CONTINUED to do it just trying to get him stopped for speeding....it was all so funny at the time........we laughed, all us workers when talking about it....been 12 or so years ago ...

Ha ha, I got the pleasure today of being mocked in a parking lot for driving such a "pathetic little POS". The mocker then walked over to his car and it would not start. Apparently, he left his lights on. Battery dead. He had to come over, hat in hand, and ask for a jump.

                      Karma's an SOB sometimes.

                      Back on topic-

You know you drive a Festiva when you always carry jumper cables, and never need them for your own car.

Dumb thieves go to prison, smart ones go to work for the Government.

You can spot a festiva anywhere... even if it is crashed, burned out and only visible for a couple seconds in the background of a tv show. And you screencap it and post it.

You take a pair of new 12" tires to Alaska by putting TWO of them in ONE 22" SUV wheel box the tire dealer gave you, and checking it as baggage for your flight.

22"+22"+12"=56" is well within airline limits of 60" total girth, and you don't even need to weigh it, since it's obviously under 50 pounds. No oversize or overweight charges.
