Is the burned festy a carb car? Just wondering because I know of 2 carb cars in jy's that had fires under the hood. Could be from ppl using fuel pumps from Mcparts stores that rub the air cleaner. Mine did that.But I smelled fuel and found the problem.

To be honest, I can't remember if it was carbed or FI. I just took a quick peek under the hood when we looked at them Wednesday night but all I remember was that everything was ruined. I'm gonna say it's a very good possibility that it was carbed because I do remember that the tail lights were smoothies.Comment

OK, after comparing notes it seems Brad and I both were right...LOL
The car started out with a carb and the guy swapped it over to FI after he got it. That's how we came up with an extra carb motor, 4spd, carb fuel tank, and carb harness
