oh, and I'd go with a rare 1983 Ford Escort GT 5door, 1.6 HO turbo 5spd, with TRX wheels and Marchal lamps.

72 Ford Maverick with 250 straight 6 with granada brake upgrade and power brakes and steering... gets *good* gas mileage and fun to just cruise in. Comets are cool too but I don't like the rear taillights, unless you get some from a bobcat

Tom Ford drives the cool new Fiat 500. Can it take the place of the Mini as the retro car of choice?

and yes, it is coming to the US, YEA!!!

Yep! I agree! 135 HP - 1.4 liter engine, and a decent lookin' car too. I might have to go with the 160 HP SS model though!
Only thing that would bother me is...its a Fiat. Not the best rep. over the years for building good cars.
But nowadays, with so many cars manufacturers being owned by "other" car manufacturers, it is probably ok.

1957 Nomad with a 454/4spd... they were awesome.... I know they wouldn't be exactly good on gas but I've always wanted one since about 3 years old on.... a friend of mine drove her grandfather's Bel Air w/ a 454 auto in it. I've always loved the Nomads....
