      Lots of progress today!!!!

      -Fixed speedo/odo(cable wasn't even attached!)
-Replaced valve cover gaskets(Should solve oil leak!!)
-Got the rear wheel bearing nut sorted out, solved that problem.
-Got some oil and coolant in her.

This car is SOOO easy to work on!! I started work on it just wanting to do the thermostat. Then I realized, wow, all I have to do to do the valve covers is remove the throttle body! So I just did that. I spend ten-fold amount of time cleaning than I actually did doing anything, lol.

I really need to get it to a car wash, power wash the engine bay. It is BAAAAAAAAAAD!!

One issue though. The thermostat is a good dual-stage example, but it's still not warming up even into the gauge..... Advice?
      Buck.

I filed the bottom of my TB to clear the VC for removal. Then when I posted about it, I was told all I had to do was crank the engine so the rockers moved for more clearance!

So you don't have to take your TB off to begin with.

Yeah I started to not even take it off, but I couldn't get quite enough leverage on the bolt under it with a wrench.

Oh yeah, that middle rear VC bolt could be a pain. Fortunately, mine wasn't over tight and somehow I reached it with a flex extension, I think. Or a small box end wrench.

Regardless, much easier than the valve covers in my Grand Prix, which requires the removal of the alternator, coil packs, one of the entire engine mounts, several sensors and their respective mounts, and surely plenty of stuff I'm missing.

Haha I don't, the tires are nearly bald. So not surprisingly I barely got around the block before I traded for the Prix LOL. Good thing I did, Cause there's some nasty hills and stuff on my route
