And yeah, those front springs on the back of the car make a huge difference! Even AFTER the fire goes out...

I'm running 185/65R14 on Daisy wheels on the back with stock rear shocks and no rubbing. GOT A BP DONOR!!! 1991 Protege LX, 117k miles, front end collision kinked the intake tube so it's not running. Easy fix. New speakers, chains, new shocks and struts new tires. All for 675$, delivered to my door 150miles from it''s origin and with an 80$ ferry fare. Apparently right after the guy crashed it, on the side of the road, someone asked him if he was gonna sell the engine. He hadn'e even gotten it home yet!Owner of:

I found that the seat absorbs a LOT of the bass, and that just adding a deflector helps substantially. Wednesday night I washed the 90L,
Today (Thursday) I filled it up, Drove it 175 miles round trip to visit my parents.
Picked up Blue Lightning's spoiler from the paint shop.Jerry

I'd install a flux capacitor but then I'd probably get pulled over for flashy interior lights...
Or for going 88MPH all the time.
However, this may help me with my delivery times. Although a time pauser would be best for that

Toyed with the stock carb awhile, checked for vacuum leaks in the black spaghetti, turned the idle screwno less than 3 whole turns out, and it sits pretty at 1,000 so far.
I wonder if the feedback system had an idle control? I was getting random cases of fluctuating idle before, seems to have quit that now, and the dead spot at 1/3 pedal between 1500 and 2500 seems to have cleared up.Comment

I don't want to answer for Christ but I'll add my experience FWIW:
probably not. I have 2nd gen miata daisies and I have full aspire swap and struts.
I have done 185/65 and 185/70 on the rears and the 70's rub, 65's don't as they're not tall enough to touch the spring perchComment

BP donor still don't run. It's got a couple gallons of gas in it now. I pulled off all of the intake tubing before the VAF. I can push the VAF flap when the key is "ON" and I can hear the fuel pump humming away. I can get the car to crank but no cough or sputter. I bought it with a small front end collision on the drivers side that killed the radiator and kinked the intake tubes. The PO said they just had it towed home and hadn't run it.
Now it's pouring down rain and I don't have a covered work area. It's got oil, doesn't hold water. I'm just a llittle puzzled on where to start.Owner of:

Installed new PVC valve & cleaned tube & nozzle on plenum. Lots of black grainy crap in pvc tube. Seems to be a little peppier.If it don't fit, use a bigger hammer!
