We'll see what happens. So far, it's not slipping, but I'm taking it easy for the recommended 500 miles.

It can't be worse than the 25,000 mile Exedy I had. It started slipping almost immediately.

    Have you switched clutches?

    • Used it as a temporary home for the night while I cover a security shift.

I'm on the internet right now thanks in part to the dome light circuit.

I did exactly this a couple weekends back, though my battery is bad so I had to have the car idling just so I could use anything that drew power for an extended period of time.

        • I have a 400w power inverter stuck under the passenger headrest, with the terminals clipped to the dome light "constant" power and the screw for the ground. It whistles at me if I get doing too many things at once because it's not a good place to draw high-wattage applications, but I don't care enough to actually wire battery contacts into the car anywhere. (Yet)

So I have my Droid X on the dash running FoxFi, the laptop plugged into the inverter, phone plugged into the cigarette lighter socket, seat leaned back gangster style and relax all night.

Doing another shift tonight, should be the last one for awhile.

                    • Added an Aspire rad hold down on the left side because the rad is on a slight angle due to the Aspire sway bar. Also added an insert for the oil cap. Got rid off the Mazdaspeed logo.

                              • Swapped the LCAs... the old ones were fine, but the sway bar bushings were damaged and rotting, so I figured I'd swap 'em out anyway and keep the old new ones for spares.

Still need to change the inner tie rods and ends, even though only one inner is loose. I'll just swap everything. I'm hoping the "other" new set of ends I have is for an Aspire, but I'm not sure until I find them again and compare to the new set of Festy ends I just got.

Digging up the Aspire front parts soon and getting them cleaned up too, gotta get the front struts cut, swapped and sprung and get everything sorted before it gets too cold out for me to care.
