      • I'm going to look at it tomorrow, then shake my head and spend some money/time on my Golf, since I just got a "fixit" ticket for inspection.

          • Bought some brown interior trim parts from Freshtiva, bought an orange intermittant wiper are from somebody else, cleaned a little more on a parts car I'm considering buying (found out 2 tires I bought [previously mounted] don't hold air like I hoped) and cleaned a stick shift boot and stick shift knob I bought off of e-Bay.

What I DIDN'T do? Work on my house.... :|

            • Since picking up Feisty on Saturday.....

Considering we paid $150 for the car there are on or two things to be sorted..

              Bought:
              • Plugs
              • Plug leads
              • Lots of degreaser
              • Headlight polishing kit
              • Rear brake cylinders
              • Brake fluid
              • Fuel filter rubber mounts
              • Pioneer DEH-2250
              • Headlight bulbs

              Done:
              • Degreased engine, twice I think I found it now
              • Polish headlights
              • Wet sand house paint off
              • Scrub interior
              • Cut'n'polish exterior, it's now white
              • Fix the fuel leak at the filter
              • Fix the cam cover oil leak
              • Pump up the tyres

I think we've already put in more $$ than the car cost

                    • Replaced a brake drum after the shop tasked with replacing my rear bearings stripped out the stud mount threads using an air ratchet and I lost a stud driving home. :-(
Changed the third brake light into an LED one.. Looks nice.. I like it much better than the stock one.

                      • The Audiovox Cruises are very easy to install. In a previous job circa '05-'07 that was one of the things I did. Always the hardest part was locating the 'speed sense' wire. Most of the time I used a cheat sheet from Directed Electronics. Unfortunately the Festiva wasn't available.

I'd sure love cruise since I do alot of interstate. A write up would be great!
