I wish I knew, I never made it to get parts off that Red one. I wanted ALLOT of pieces off that one but never had the money.
They kept it for a few months, then probably didn't make much money off of it, so they probably crushed it to fill up the space with another useless Taurus or newer Escort. I hate seeing these cars that are in better shape than mine getting crushed because of lazy owners that just want a quick buck.

The car has allot of good interior, allot of it just needs a cleaning. Backseat is shot, mass of stains, and one of the folding forward levers are broken off. Seat rails are shot on the front seats, and the driver's side door card is ripped.

If you need a new top there is one for sale on the KC CL. Asking 100 and it's new still in box. Black would look better on the red anyway!

The red one had a super mint interior almost makes me wanna cry knowing I couldn't snag it, I mean the interior was show room quality.

                      • Got the antenna all the way in a bolted down, i have a bushing for my shifter in which makes the world of difference, trying a different wiper fluid motor cause i would like to see out of the windshield some days, and on top of that i have 2-4 days until i get my license plate back. getting ready to work on Otter-stiva now. Also, could anyone direct me to the info about splicing wires for the radio or swapping radios, cause that im not good at and it is a mess.

                        • Surf Blue's AC compress has had the belt off for over 4 years. Screwed on the R134a adapters, ran a vacuum pump on the system for a couple of hours (no leaks found), charged with ester oil and R134a and she's blowing cold air again.

                            • Got it started.. sorta. Had to turn the disty all the way clockwise. If I remember right that's what the other disty did as well. Went to get one today but had already been picked. Oh well helped another member pull the suspension off of a Aspire so the trip wasn't in vain.

                              • Yesterday I almost completely stripped the black car. City complained about "inoperable vehicles."
Just have doors, hatch, pedal bracket, headliner, and suspension left.
How do I remove the carb car rear view mirror? I can't find any screws.
