Took the Lights/Turn/Wiper assembly off Surf Blue and and replaced it with the one I pulled at LKQ yesterday ($18 total cost).
Disassembled and cleaned the new one really good and greased all the moving parts with white lube.
(If you ever have to take one apart be careful not to lose all the little ball bearings. There are four of them.
One larger one held in by a spring in the middle of the turn signal rocker arm.
Two smaller in the light dimmer (one at the end of each fork with tiny springs inside the forks).
One under the Hazzard on/off rocker switch.
It's all back together and works like new now. No more having to remember to turn off the signals.
Found out that Mustang II's have a 4x4.25 bolt pattern, after painting, mounting and balancing all the tires and rims to put them on my festy... 28$ of pick n pull rims out the door
