Fresh, I'd like to have one of your cars please when you are done!
frankenfester. It's looking good man! New paint on the lower part of the hatch or has it always been like that?

Replaced the alternator belt (squeaking for a few thousand miles, stretched a few times ) on the '89, removed A/C belt and tensioner, as the tensioner was rusted 100% frozen to itself, and wouldn't move at all. Currently soaking in Dawn, then I dunno what tomorrow.

Painted the aero-grill MK III. Still not perfect, but no more bulging foam. Gotta do one with fiberglass next time.Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

I made my car the ugliest festiva ever. I bought some open ended lugs and they did not go on the way I thought they would. I was under the impression that oz racing wheels need open tuner lugs. My car also needs a serious drop.1993 GL 5 speed
It's a MazdaFordnKia thing, and you will understand!

Looks good to me! I've seen much uglier Festivas. Like the normal ones for sale around here.. 72% Indiana road salt, 10% redneck, 18% original metal!
That 10% redneck breaks down into the following:
3% wood front bumper
5% floor holes patched with old license plates
2% rifle mounted on dash
All things I've seen in cars I've looked at.. >_<White '92 GL 5-speed BP, G series, Aspire/Rio swapped, "Nancy"

Yeah, I'm failing to see the ugly part? I can't even see your lug nuts!
P.S. Those are the same wheels I was going to put on the same color car!Last edited by Prafeston; 11-14-2013, 08:23 PM.

Got my new headlight assemblies put on today.
They are super clean and clear.
And then at night time I went to a level empty parking lot with a building to adjust my headlights on.
Got them adjusted then drove around and made small corrections.
The headlight bulbs I've had are the silverlights that are one step brighter than stock since they last longer than ultra bright bulbs.
It's been a while since I had bright white light coming out of my headlights.
I can actually see well at night again.
Then while I had the front grill removed I wrapped saran wrap over the front of it.
Pulled it tight then used heat to tighten/stretch it over the front.
To help keep my car warmer on the cold days.
So far so good.
