  • Proud new owner of a 1991 Ford Festiva 5spd! GL!

Hello all! My names Fred and tonight i purchased my first car! A 1991 Ford Festiva, It has 71,000 original engine miles, new snow tires american racing mag rims, new brakes all around, struts and the owner also included extra brake pads, a Haynes manual and extra mag rim with tire! Got all of it for 2000$'s I will be posting pictures soon (: its white with a cheesy 90's splash graphic with very little rust (only on the bottom of the wheel wells). I'm also new to driving stick but man! Driving it around my neighborhood tonight was awesome! Do you guys have any tips for a first time owner? I wanted to purchase a car that would be simple to work on etc etc do you think i made the right choice in purchasing a festy?!

Where are you located? Might want to update your location via user CP near the top of the page when viewing the main page.

Wow! Nice ride! Love the graphics! You don't find many with graphics that are still in that good of shape. Please don't remove them!

Honestly, I was thinking of removing them originally, but they have grown on me, and if I eventually decide to do a swap can you say sleeper city?! haha. The woman who i purchased it from drove it 5,000 miles a year and had all service receipts from herself and the previous owner (shes owned it since 1996) she also kept it in a garage throughout winter.
