Yes sir, and getting harder to find. They easily bring $150 no matter what condition.

I'd like to see window rubber channels or guides? They shrink here and make the windows hard to get all the way up

Maybe we could get Rocketman to do a cast aluminum log style?

So why wouldn't you want vics? If it helps out your torque curve that much

the VICS system in on the 1.8 DOHC helps to increas torque @ hi RPM. the system doesn't come into play until 5000 RPM and it is the ECA that controls the 3 way solenoid valve that allows the shutter valves to be opened by the actuator. the 1.3 DOHC in the GTX has a similar if not identical VICS system. i really don't notice any extra "push" in my GTX when crossing the 5000 RPM mark but i'm sure its measurable on a dynometer.

I thought everybody knew about it, it just wasn't mentioned every time he came on the board.

besides being modest, i really didn't want to come out of the closet until i had a valid Pennsylvania plate and inspection on it. in other words, legally drivable. the car landed on US soil on july 30 but i have had nothing but grief since then trying to get to that point where i could drive it. i've had to battle my notary, insurance agent, and the PA DOT to finally get a title and registration. the last step is to get inspection and emissions tags but am being told the car needs all DOT marked lenses, mirrors, glass, 5mph bumpers, tires, fuel filler pipe with restrictor, etc. this despite having numerous federal forms exempting it from EPA and FMVSS standards due to the age of the car. my mechanic is calling the state to see if those exemptions are valid in PA but even if i have to jump through yet another hoop and throw US parts on it i got a little lucky because it was built with DOT glass and has the 5 mph bumper, and cat conv. but the only lights stamped DOT are the rectangular front bumper lens. the tires aren't dot and strangely, even with a cat the filler neck doesn't have a restrictor for unleaded.
i had a 10 day grace period after it was registered to drive it before needing inspected but at this time of the year the weather has whittled that down to just a few. didn't even get to bang the redline. bummer is that by the time all is legit, the snow will be flying here. car is a 1989 GTX canvas top totally loaded all options. red, about 53K miles, or KM. i keep forgetting which. i have a bunch of pics i'll try to link yinz to and a viddy of it coming off the car carrier.

Got 30 sets of these in the mail today. Inverted ribs. First picture is showing the plastic protective strip still on the lights. I took it off in the second pic so the lights can be seen a little better. They are brand new and have the wiring harness and gaskets.
