The bottom holder can be a different color if you want. Plus you can have written whatever you want on it or nothing at all. I have a white holder with a black bottom holder, looks pretty good. The outside of my car is white. I'm going to make a red and black one for my red festiva as soon as my red filament gets here.

Yeah. My Festiva is sapphire blue with grey interior. As you are the creator I give you creative liberty. Got any color combo ideas?

Problem is right now I have limited colors. Red, Black, White, Green. Each filament roll color costs about $24.

Are these printed in PLA, ABS, or...? Maximize infill and increase overlap to increase sturdiness

They are ABS and yes I need to increase infill to help with the screw holding. I was just making one for myself but if others want to buy them I will increase the infill.

I'm not sure that's nessesary, installing it with the factory screws grabbed well. If anything, the pilot hole could drop a size for a little more compression. Also I noted that the can base doesn't need to be installed prior to tightening the screws.

It's too early to tell but from initial fitment, the "tongue" may need a few more mills between the plate and tray by putting in a step to compensate on the plate?

What ya think so far? Thanks for the info. What do you mean by "putting in a step to compensate on the plate"

Where the tongue sits on the plate and it has that thin hook... Make the hook thicker, but to do that, there needs to be a recessed step in the plate. Also for strength, a radius should be put on the inside corners of the hook and also on the plate to match. Nothing drastic, but enough to remove the stress riser at the 90* angles.

I did have a thicker hook but it wouldn't fit between the plate and the ashtray face. So are you suggesting a recessed step on the back side of the plate, the part that is against the ashtray? I can put some slight radii in the areas you suggest. Thanks

Cool. Thanks. I made the radius adjustments, thickness and recess mods too. I'm printing one out to see how it fits. Slosh that Arizona around and see how she holds
