Originally posted by F3BZjust curious. maybe festiva GT-X can answer this. the pic of the dash is from a japanese parts book. it looks like the bin cavity is a molded part of the dash and the lid is a removable/replaceable part, otherwise i would think there would be a part# for the cavity if it was a seperate piece that was sunk into a hole in the dash. no big deal if us who bought the lidded box have to fab a box and a way to mount the lid. what's really interesting is that the part description is a "cool bin lid". if you look at the cavity in the dash you can see some vertical slots which i think might be to divert air from the A/C system to chill the contents of the bin. plus a photo of the bin in a sales brochure shows 2 cans of beverage in the bin. now that would be cool!sigpic

Ahh I see... you only want the lid things take off the dashboard and cut out with your dashboard and attach it? it only can be found from JDM Ford Festiva otherwise there no lids with 121 Mazda, Kia Pride, and USA Ford Festiva... I haven't any contacts friend in Japan with JDM parts not yet...

have you updated the list of parts available?? i'm askin because we already sent you money for all parts ordered, so instead of sending the remainder of the money, could we add parts to our orders to take the place of the parts not available now
1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor
1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)
If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?
