Y'know, I keep bringing the camera with me, but then I get so into working on it that I forget that I brought the camera. Well, that and my hands are usually really greasy. It's the wife's camera, after all.

I'll see what I can do tonight. I won't be getting too greasy. This evening will involve finishing off the exhaust, installing spark plugs and wires, filling the rad, setting the timing, checking for leaks, and driving the bag off of it.

My car is so happy about the new engine, it jumped a couple of feet off the floor!

                  A little closer look...

                  Another angle?

                  AND...a shiny new muffler!

I added to my to-do list today. At this pace I'm losing ground.

^ I got the console off an auto I bought recently, A friend set me up with the boot, shifter knob and retainer. I see the upgrade might be available in this thread. Page 13

Thanks! I've been working hard at it, a couple hours at a time, a couple of night a week.

Maybe soon I'll be able to drive it, too.

I've got to get some things sorted out with the way it runs, and then maybe I'll be able to drive it somewhere. Maybe I'll even be able to bring it home. It hasn't even seen my neighborhood yet.

Hey monkeyracing, i noticed you didn't install the vacuum resivoir so your sweet valve cover would be visible. Do you have any problems without it? I was thinking of doing that.

First, Hey Monkeyracing.. cool headlights! How did you do that?

                                projects on the Deathegg:
                                1. new wheels/tires (13")
                                2. new control arms
                                3. new tie rods
                                4. pan and valve cover gaskets
                                5. Possibly tinted windows
                                6.re-face my gauges

                                see? not much really
If it has boobs or wheels, sooner or later you're going to have trouble with it.
                                Mark S.
