The AF2011-A1 Double Barrel Pistol comes actually as the very first industrial double barrel semiautomatic pistol of all times. The original idea came about ...

    • Nice as a novelty, but I wouldn't want to carry it; it would pull my pants down. How in the heck do they take the barrel bushings off to dissaemble it.:eeeeeek:
If it don't fit, use a bigger hammer!

            No! NOOOOO!!!!!

John Moses Browning will return to life and wreak havoc across the whole gun world if that thing has more than its unholy fifteen minutes of infamy!

            • I'll be picking up a 1911-22 in about another week or so. I'll post pics when I get it.

I may also be getting a reworked WASR and a XD .45 with accessories, as well, depending on how the sale goes w/ the guy.

              • Ah, 1911-22. Christ, I saw some nice ones, made by some foreign company. Who makes the Colt piece, do you know?

                How's your WASR reworked?

For the best in up to date Kalashnikov methodology, check out Paul Gomez's training. AKs ain't run like ARs, and Paul is one of the best.

                • I think the 1911-22 I'm looking at might be Umagawa (is that it?)

The WASR is just 922r compliant, I don't remember what parts are on it, but that deal may not go through either. Seems that someone got to it first and was interested in just the WASR, instead of the package deal. No biggie, I don't really have the $1000 to spend on the package anyway, and I'm not totally interested in a .45 caliber handgun right now, since I carry my 9mm HP C9 regularly and am comfortable with it.

                  • I just saw this advertised in the paper today:

Looks like I might have to pick one up. First I'll check to see just how close it is to actual GI carbines. I'd like to set it up for cheap practice with whatever sight system and accessories I eventually adopt, possibly including a forward mounted scope or red dot sight.

Every once in awhile you might see an old Erma Werke M1 Carbine copy for sale, but their mags are hard to find, IIRC.

I'd really like to see a .22 rimfire copy of the Mauser Broomhandle. I've shot a real one but it was kinda nasty on the hands. The noise of that 7.63mm round was pretty sharp, too. A rimfire version would be sweet!

                      • Here's a history of the Erma M1 Carbine copy, which was made in Dachau, Austria from the fifties to fairly recently:

Click on the "Part Two" at the bottom to continue.

From the looks of it, the new M1 copy is not the Erma design.

Here are some more detailed pics from another site:

Google "Citadel M1 Carbine" to get more comments from other forums. Lots of plastic, including the sights, which may be fragile. Otherwise, some folks do like theirs.

                          • Ummm, wowww!! You guys have got it good in the states, where I live we have some of the strictest laws on guns, cars and dogs. (my three favourite things)...
No semi auto (forget about fully) rifles or shotguns.. Ever.. Get caught out n about with ANY firearm and be ready for the law to crap a chicken (even if youre licensed), and with every firearm purchased you need either a club endorsement and/or a letter or permission from a "suitable" land owner to shoot on their property...

Yeh, you guys got some nice gear
I can't wait to get there

Come to think of it, a couple of years ago in a suburb not far from me, a 73 year old man was charged with murder for shooting a home intruder (there was more than one in the house) after waring them he had a gun and yet they kept kept trying to smash the door down to the room he was holed up with his wife in.............

                            .....

                            • How is the murder, assult & burgelery stats since you lost your rights to privately own firearms? Its hard to belive a freedom loving country like Australia could let that happen to them. Sorry, I'm a staunch defender of our 2nd Admendment, & a NRA member. You are more than welcome here, any time mate!

                              • It is a huge day in Canada, at 12:01 this morning the federal long gun registry was shut down by our Conservative government. Words cannot express how happy I am
The government will no longer know what/how many guns you own. Purchasing a gun will be as simple as cash& carry.
