Im getting carried away but the neighbors are gonna love me. I planned and spaced the garden so I could dig the furrows with the tractor ( big time saver ) also I should be able to cultivate and later dig the potatoes, onions, carrots, beets, and turnips with my new middle buster. Its too much to do by hand.

something like this, too bad he doesnt have a potato planter ;^)

In this one The Bayou Gardener takes a look at our Heavy Duty Middle Buster. If you would like more information about our product please contact us. Phone #1...

Cleaned out my water tank despite the best design efforts by the tank Mfg. to prevent any type of cleaning. What were they thinking ??

Loaded the tank in a wagon, and filled with water. The wagon is weighing in at about 3 tons now, best haul it with the tractor instead of the truck.

Watered in the new recruits around sunset

500 gals of water for the garden in place. Have to keep the seeds wet until they germinate.

That concludes today’s live coverage of Garden 2012

I bet your wife loves it. Does she help? Are you considering selling anything at a farmers market?

She does loves it because it saves on the food bill. She will help with the preserving Im hoping. I doubt Ill sell anything, if I cant pass it off on the neighbors I'll contact the local churches with the excess, maybe it will help some people in need. Im just into the growing ( and eating ). Also there is something about a nice well cared for garden that appeals to my eye.

Yeah, good luck. Most of my tulips took a hit from the night frosts we've had around here. Fewer blooms make a sad face!

First produce of 2012. Red Giant mustard greens, ( has a spicy kick to it ) green onions, and a handful of sugar peas. Using it all in a salad for supper.
