My garden runneth over. Ive been harvesting radishes, mustard greens, and onions for two weeks now. Cant eat fast enough to keep up. The radishes mature from seed in 20 days. Pretty amazing from seed to table in less than three weeks. The green onions ( purple, yellow, white ) are huge, not your wimpy store bought size. I started the brocolli indoors in feb. already getting heads on them. Potatoes arent blooming yet but it wont be long. Been sharing with the neighbors some. All organic so far, pests have been few except for a little rabbit damage.

I had a deer munch on one of my cauliflowers. I told the wife and she said "how do you know it was a deer, you always blame everything on the deer."
I said " well there were deers tracks leading up to where the cauliflower was, the cauliflower was gone, and there were deer tracks leading away."sigpic

Spent the last couple of days in the garden, trying to finish planting. I picked my prize radishes today. They are call "Champion" radishes. I see why, three weighed 12 oz so they average 1/4 pound each. No cracking and solid in the center.

Sweet Marcus!
We have strawberries ripe now. I planted corn, some weird tiny hot peppers, bell peppers, cucumbers, eight different types of tomatoes, 9 volunteer tomatoes!! And I now am raising egg laying chickens! I am also digging out a 300 gallon koi pond. I went kind of crazy! Especially since we live on 1/3 acre.youtube.com/neanderpaul 88 festiva LX w/BP G25 MR 5 speed waiting for wiring- 93 Festiva GL auto w/ air, waiting for B6t/G4A-HL - 98 Nissan Quest - 02 Mazda protege 5 wife's DD

Picked 25 of my 200 onions sets. I also put in a 100 foot row on onion bulbs in early spring. Way too many ! Going to try and dehydrate some today, they'll keep forever that way.

I transplanted most of my volunteers from the garden to along a fence. I need to take some pics. Your harvest looks great Marcus!youtube.com/neanderpaul 88 festiva LX w/BP G25 MR 5 speed waiting for wiring- 93 Festiva GL auto w/ air, waiting for B6t/G4A-HL - 98 Nissan Quest - 02 Mazda protege 5 wife's DD

Thanks leapin !
I picked 50 onions this morning. The dehydrater was only half full ( not half empty ) yesterday. If it running it might as well be full. It sure smells up the house for the first couple of hours.

I dont care who you are, that's a beautiful thing right there. Not bad for a fifty cent investment. Still have over 100 purples to pick yet.
