Thanks i was wanting more than the spec because they say it is only 15% stonger clamping than stock. I was saying about in i/c I do not need one because I did a remote turbo so i could keep my a/c and underhood temps would stay down. On a hot FL. day, after a spirted drive the turbo only reached 400*.

how far back did you mount the turbo? got any pics?

400 hundred degrees is hot. if your car was na the inlet air temp would be close to air temp and you said you are in FL so hot is like 80 or 90. the heat doesnt just come from the exhaust side. when the air is compressed it is heated so add that to the 400 degrees or so and that is hot. by the time it gets to your intake it will cool some im not saying you need one but on my car after a good drive the turbo is about 450 or 500 but my intake manifold is cool to warm but never hot it is usually 10 to 15 degrees over ambient temp. your turbo temp doesnt matter all that much but your intake manifold does so if it is hot like over 150 you will definitely gain power and reliability from an intercooler cause you can turn the boost down but make the same power or leave the boost and make even more power.

yeah, i was introduced to STS about 6 years ago, but never on something so small.

with a "GT" badge, "go fast" racing stripes and a big old turbo hanging out the rear, even i wouldnt want to race you lol.

EDIt... again lol... i just realised that its a 90 lx and the exact same color as mine COOL!!! and is that a hulla hoop girl or somthing in your gauge cluster?
