I plan on adding custom widened fenders onto the festiva. If the miata rear is wider thats great i wanted a wider track on the festiva so itll corner better. i plan on startin rally racing it in the future.

Wider meaning the width of the subframe/crossmember - if you put them side by side you'd see what I meant. Not talking tires here

What about bolting a Festy body to a Suzuki Samurai chassis? They are a lot more available than the Justys.

If I remember correctly they had an independent transfer case too, that would make an engine swap easy, ( humm... V6!) or was that the geo tracker?
