I'm a little confused here. With this setup when the clutch pedal is pushed down it will pull on the bracket you've made which then PULLS the the bolt that's connected to the throwout lever (for lack of a better term). Doesn't the hydraulic setup PUSH on the lever when the pedal is pushed down?Originally posted by Damkid View Post

sweet! This is the most exciting/sweet build since when I followed some of the original v6 mk1/mk2 mr2 builds 5 or six yrs ago!!! (I love v6 in little cars)

I almost had the ZE home today, but just as i got done work and was going to jump on the forklift to grab the engine and load it up, a truck pulled in needing to be unloaded
so i should have it home tomorrow and i'll be working on the final mount over the weekend

Holy smokes my old Festiva has a V6 in it now! We definitely have to meet up so you can take me for a spin in it!
Looking through your pictures brings back a lot of memories. I hope you're having as much fun with the car as I had!

There's plenty of adjustment for the clutch, which is why the adjuster is at the end of the cable, i made it with the clutch lever as far in as it would go so it can only move to give slack in the cable, so it should be fine
here's a couple more pics i just took, i unbolted it so i can paint it and it drying now

Wow that clutch cable setup is sweet! Looks like it will work perfectly...do you have enough room on the threads to adjust the clutch?
