I like your midshaft mount, probably the best way to do it. Thats how ill do my mount on my next swap. And about crank pulley clearance.. are you going to have a/c? why the extra pulley? you could use a double v-belt pulley for more clearance maybe?

Just remember you can get a capri XR2 tranny to put in you GT, they are the same thing

ya but then i have to go in to the usa and pick one up or get it shipped... i dont have a passport or money to do that lol...
