I have it all planned out in my head and the best way for me to show everyone is to just build the pipes and take pics, it should look nice and clean when I'm done

Are you going to run turbo pipes topside like the Turbo Grand Prix? Sure save a lot of space and piping

This turbo is blown and for mock-up only

I got this turbo from my friend at work, it is an HX35 and the shaft actually snapped in two, so it's junk basically, i've decided to not use the garett turbo and just get an HX35, that way i'm only making the piping once

    So here's a couple pics

    The HX35 by itself

    Comparison to the garett turbo

And i had to get an idea how well it'll even fit in my engine bay and i think it'll fit nicely of course it's just resting in there so it's position is not the way it'll be mounted in there

On another note, i'm hoping to be buying my intercooler within the next couple weeks, once it arrives i'll be able to rebuild my intake with knowing where to place the throttle body lol

I'm just subscribing because, while I'm not into building fast cars, I can appreciate custom work, and I see a challenge being met and exceeded here.

    Looking forward to future updates.

Thanks for that link but I'm sure that won't work for me, I have only 1 spot to the exhaust to the turbo, the pipe going out the back needs to run over my tranny and behind the engine in order for it all to work out

Just looking around at K parts and came across this:

Maybe you've seen it. I just thought this just might stand a shot at working for you. Although it looks like the flanges don't line up quite right in the pictures. Don't know what that's all about.

Donny, those bolts that fell behind my headlight... Learning the hard way

Up by the cowl's a little safer!

**shakes head** previous posts states the throttle body doesn't clear so I need to re make the intake before it's usable

Friday it took 2 1/2 hours to change the water pump from start to finish

Here's how far down i had to tear it apart

I can go from a running car to the engine out in about 1hr 45mins, it really is not bad to work on because of how much "extra" crap I kept out of my engine bay
