Yep, all the caps were marked when I took them off, and the arrows are all the same. I also checked the gap of each one with plastigage and checked the gap in the piston rings. So it should all be good to go!

How do you "lose" all oil while driving? Unless he didn't screw his oil drain plug or filter all the way in or something. Or the oil feed line or return line for the turbo were loose.

i have no idea how it did but the threads were all messed up so he must have cross threaded it or something. the car runs 12's

                    K new question:
What year festiva do I take the pulley off of to work with the EGT engine?
When I go to the parts store, what type of belt from which car do I need to work the alternator using the festiva pulley?

Also I have done alot of reading, and there is little information on the BP auto swap. two things:
Do I need an auto ECM from an EGT or a standard ECM?
Do I need to get a throttle body from a standard ECM?
Is there anything else I need to pull off of a standard ECM to make this swap work the first time?

So bring the festiva belt and ask for 1" shorter, or the escort belt?

take a piece of string and loop it around the pulleys and measure how long it is... then go and get a belt that length...
