ok i finally got some pics. i replaced the headgasket along with the other gaskets from the head up on the b8. now all i gotta do is either find a non hydro tranny to use or just go ahead and use the protege tranny and see if i can get the hydro setup to work. oh and figure out the mounting situation.

                    UPDATE:
ok so im having a problem with the whole mounting issue. Im probably just gonna use the stock b8 back tranny mount with the festy crossmember. ill get pics up tomorrow. other than the hydro clutch setup im doing everything should just fall into place.

ok well sorry about the wait, been kinda wet here and i havent had a chance to get out there and work on my car but, i did manage to make progress today. I made a extremely simple front tranny mount out of a piece of angle iron i had laying around, will get pics here in a few. About a week ago i also made a lil progress, i bought a master cylinder for the hydro clutch setup and installed it, fits pretty nice if i do say so myself....lol. Now all that remains left to do is, fab the clutch pedal, get a rear tranny mount, get a few rubber lines to extend a coolant line, install motor, hook up wiring, change oil put new filter on, and gas her up and go!!! So all in all i have about another day or two left of this swap!! btw can anybody ell me if i need to get any new sensors and splice into the harness?? i was told one was the tps??

^ you do NOT have to splice in the tps. Just unwrap the injector harness pull the tps wires back to about the first injector and retape. It will then reach.
