but yours was before turbo... if i tried to have 1 7/8ths after the turbo (turbo back) it would choke it up like crazy... the less back pressure you have AFTER the turbo the better... it will spool faster and get boost lower down in the rpm range... from what i have been reading going from 2.5inch to 3inch piping they gained torque cause the boost came on 500 rpm faster on avrage... and was a nicer sound IMO... the only thing that i have never heard was having the muffler so far up the exhaust... i dont plan on having anything after the first muffler, so im wondering what it will sound like with all that pipe open from the muffler to the tip... its gonna be about 8 feet im guessing...

Your not remembering that Sasquatch does EVERYTHING in excess. remember how many lights he had on his car at one point? I think we should be happy he's not asking to put on 4" piping, lol.

3" is too big, 1.5 for the wastegate sounds ok, since I think you got the same one I did, which is 38mm, close enough to 1.5". A wastegate routing like in your drawing wont scream, it will sound like a car with a 1.5" dp dumping into a 3" catback, ontop of the exhust frow from the turbine. Open dump will scream. If you want it to be loud when it hits the gate then run the dump tube down under the engine and dump it there. I got the v-bands off ebay. nice stainless with a ring on one flange surface and groove in the other, so they line up perfect.

Dump under the car or run to the dp like conventional setups, and loose the cat, or gut one or something.

try it, report back with vid of what it sounds like. it will probably sound like a muffled fart, like a civic with a rusted out muffler. What are you doing on a civic forum anyway? lol

Makes me want to put the BP into my car!! I would have to scronge a manual tranny from somewhere.
I like the coil over spark plug set up you got there.
                  Looks like fun
Aspires and Sways all around, Miata B6 installed, KYB G2Rs just installed in front. Wish for coil overs someday.

                    ok a update

i started doing a wire tuck i saw damkid doing it on his kl swap and it gave me an idea

before... sorry about the bad pic...

                    after

i tucked all the plugs and the relay behind the fender to hide it all looks alot better IMO...

also added some nice fuses to get rid of those ugly looking wires

tied up some wires for my gauges, sound system and harness...

and i thought i would show where i stuck the water temp sensor... from what i was reading in the b6t book i have this pipe flows the water around that has just come out of the block and head so it should be the hottest and best spot for it...

also moved my coil back to the first spot i had it casue the plug wire i have now is long enough lol...

over all shot of the engine bay...

shot of the intercooler and piping... im gonna leave it out for a bit untill i get the turbo in it...

ooo and last but not least.... back when my car was running i had a VERY hard time seeing what my speed was when i was on the road at night... with the extra gauges i have in my car shining in my eyes, my brighter headlight bulbs and the cars headlights shining in my eyes like crazy i couldnt get my eyes to focus on the cluster and see the speed i was going ... well turns out 2 of the 4 bulbs where burnt out lol... i got some new ones but it still wasnt the brightness i wanted

here is a before shot... with ALL 4 bulbs working...

and without changing ANY setting on the camera or anything here is the after shot

i took out the thing that turns the light from white to green and i LOVE it so much better ill let you guys know how its to drive with at night... even if i have to dim the dimmer switch down to like nothing thats fine... it will just make the bulbs last longer lol...

                    more to come

Wow, that cluster is bright without the filter on it. I like the wire tuck.

Looks like some nice features for the price. When that bosch sensor takes a crap replace it with a NTK sensor, they are better. It looks like it uses the same plug as my NGK AFX
