I did notice that I'm getting a backfire on one of the intake strokes so I'm thinking I have build up on an intake valve sticking
I've got the valvetrain soaking in seafoam
Does anyone know any other tricks aside from rebuilding the head?1988 Chevy Sprint Turbo 997cc

Did you un-wrap where the stock VAF location was or did you cut/splice andrun new to the drivers side. Oneof those wires, is a shielded wire.....Last edited by festivaWES; 05-07-2010, 09:50 PM.---------------------------------------------------

*Pictures Update*
Ok so I finally go home before dark and got some as is pictures
Motor status:
I got it to fire and run yesterday - I had to keep feathering the throttle to keep it running - once it died I got nothing but sputters - I let it sit and tried it again and it would try to kick but wouldn't take - when it dies it huffs back into the intake

Trevor, block off the breather, brake booster, FPR and anything else connected to vacuum. See if it makes any difference.Jim DeAngelis
