okay I finally found a 4wd protege jack shaft and its on its way they said by 7 days at the most. costed me 175.00 I just hope its the right one! anyway ill be gone all week for army national guard duty so will update when I get back. Hopefully with the correct jack shaft. -Dan

there is a difference, its shorter externally and longer internally I believe. I'll try and get some measurements of mine tonight or tomorrow morning.

whats the measurement of the end dia of the 4wd pro inter axle....is there a diff in the 4wd vs 2wd pro inter axle?

yeah I had to wait a while to get mine. perhaps try calling engine importers. they sometimes separate the transmissions from the engines.

why not upgrade to BG front hubs so you don't need any BF parts? according to rocketman's schematic all you have to do is flip the inner CV on the driver's axle and be done with it?
You will get bigger brakes if you snag protege LX or Escort GT hubs
