sorry bro, somebody cut the axel off in it, that transmission is no good.. I feel sorry you spent all that money on it tho, so I'll give you 20 bucks for it, it will make nice yard art! lmk
It is not from an 88/89 GTX (those are BF chassis) it's from a 91(?)+ JDM GTX. Never available in the states
when I bought the engine and trans it was listed for a 88-89 mazda 323 gtx.. I know this could be wrong... I just read a article on Google somewhere where it said the 88-up gtx from over sea was this transmission.. the only difference Ive seen so far between this and the gtr was the gtr had shoot peened first or second gears ..idk just what I read also its hard to believe much ,,, and I know you have been around a bit lol
Is that BG chassis trans? it looks a bit different then the GTX trans i had
its from a 88 323gtx BG bolted to a true bpt engine from japan. I dont know much about this trans other then it doesnt use the diff lock motor because it has a viscous differential stock. ...if anyone knows much about it entertain me thanks
been busy with alot here recently military, hazmat, school and work so I havent really got a update other then i got some hubs, bearings and seals. I pulled the AWD trans from the back of the building today and took a few pics.
I have to get some coilovers for my setup, I'm trying to decide if I want to go with racelands or just get the civic cheapy ones and QA1's. i will not be slamming this thing to the ground so I doubt I'll need helper springs... What coilover system do you plan on using?
mazda 626 rear struts with ebay coil over sleeves with summit racing springs for now and festiva kyb's on the front with the same coil over set up
