    • Waiting for the engine. Can't do anything til I get it back. Then it will be a mad rush to finish wiring and get it on the road. I would say 95% done at this point if you don't count the engine. Highly doubt Madness will happen but I am still hopeful.

No more customizing to do. I have to finish the headliner and install all the parts that have to wait til the engine is in the bay. Pretty easy and straightforward stuff I guess. Damn I wanna make it to Madness!!!!

      • Throw a temporary BP together to get it running and get any bugs worked out, then swap the monster motor in when she's done. Plenty of Festivas have driven to madness with thrown together BP's. A few days worth of spit polishing it and it'll look good in there too.

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

          • Hey Gomez

I hope you take copying as the greatest of compliments Because Ièm really considering copying your exact lower rad support design. I think its perfect!!!

            • I CAN'T TAKE ANY CREDIT AT ALL for that. It is completely Charlie's (Advanceddynamics) design. I just copied it too. LOL

                    • Excellent! This should be achievable by madness.

                        • This summer has been spent 99% on things other than the car mostly because of the wait for the engine. Though it is looking like I will get it back before snow flies I will not have it out on the road til the weather breaks form the cold /rain/snow.

Cool pic of the pistons and such

                          • Those are nice. Is this engine build still a huge secret, no estimates or specs?

                            • no secrets. I just don't have any info other than what I told him I wanted. He said it will be an 8900rpm beast, run on pump gas, and will have it tuned on his dyno and ready to drop in when I get it. Will have a grocery tune, weekend tune, and a dyno day tune. That's pretty much all I got.

                              • I still find it frustrating that all my pics have been deleted from this thread. They are still in my photobucket though. When the car is done I will post all the good pics with the finished project
