Got the data logger working tonight. If you look at the log at 5600 rpm my vaf is reading .44v and afr is 17:1. When I reached in the vaf and pushed the door as wide open as it'd go it'd max out at .33v. When it's completely closed it's only at like 3.5v so not really sure what's going on there. I hooked up a fuel pressure gauge and test drove it. It's staying around 40 psi whole way to redline.Better Than Nothing Racing

Haven't really figured out the running lean part yet but I harassed charlie and have a few things to try to fix that. Went to put the festiva rear beam and brakes back in yesterday. Luckily I test fit my wheels on my drums before I pulled the aspire stuff off because the festiva hub center bore is to big to fit my wheels. :violent1: So I just said screw it and kept the aspire beam on there. I did at least remove the sway bar from it though.

Swapped back to the original injectors and played with the spring in the vaf today. Adjusted it something like 15 "clicks" leaner but I've got it idling at 14 and at wot near redline its at 10. Its still weird though if you back off on the throttle it will go richer. It runs way better like this though, doesn't sound as raspy and pulls hard whole way to limiter.Better Than Nothing Racing

Resonators remove harmonics by absorbing certain Hz and also allows the exhaust gasses to expand and cool which also changes the tone. I suspect the resonators that you are used to hearing are not resonators but rather mufflers or cored resonators and cheap ones at that. Have that cobalt SS swap in a real resonator or cherry bomb and I guarantee the rasp will disappear.Trees aren't kind to me...

No real updates on the festiva. Just spent all my money on my saab again. I did finally pass all my master tech certifications this week. So I should be getting around a $10/hr raise in the next week or 2. I'm now a world class certified gm technican.Better Than Nothing Racing
