You might try spacing the bump stops another inch or so.

Maybe I missed it, but on mine with the Aspire beam I had to bend over the metal tab that hits the tire, just near the bumper cover end.
I use the long VW bump stop, 2005 bettle rear.

Pretty sure I'm using the same bumpstop. Ill check that tab tomorrow I took a quick peek at it before I drove home today but it isn't obviously hitting.

I've sanded the large diameter rib down on a belt sander too, rather than cutting it off. That gives another inch or more of bump stop. The nice thing about adjusting your rate with the bump stop is that your not increasing the rate of the initial sag, so it ends up being a more stable setup (except on washboard dirt roads).

Random observation of the day. At steady part throttle acceleration at around 4500 rpm afr will go from 14:1 to 9:1. I currently have vics set to switch around that point to not sure if it's related yet.

The Capri management systems (both b6t and NA) go rich after 4k rpm. Not that rich though. What O2 sensor are you running?

Rolled the fenders again and adjusted the rear wheel bearings. Only rubs over real bad bumps and mid corner bumps now. Found a bunch of play in my LF wheel bearing so I'm trying to rebuild my spare knuckles. That's probably what's been causing my vibration. Adjustable fpr is on the way but I think I better send my spare injectors out to be cleaned while I'm at it. All while trying to fix all the exhaust leaks on the saab.

                            • All depends on year/model and how well they've been maintained. All the problems with mine have been self inflicted. The mid 90s 900 and 9000 can do 400hp on a stock bottom end. I put pistons in my later engine and it should be good for 600 now.

                              • I'm still seeing old 900 turbos popping up in our junk yards out here with 300k+ miles on them. That's a sign that these were reliable cars if they are still on the road. It's too bad the company is now gone.
