Work was slow yesterday so I adjusted it. It wasn't that far off. Seems to have helped but it still does it when the idle speed is high.

Hmmm, very strange. Our B6d came with the rheostatic TPS. Does the b3 tps fit on that throttle body?Driving for me is neither a right nor a privilege. Nice! It's possible that the TPS is failing or has corrosion or something. That might make things act up.Driving for me is neither a right nor a privilege. Started cleaning up my spare aspire knuckles so I can replace the ones that are already on the car. I'm starting to get a very small amount of play in the left side.
Sensor died on my lm1 a few months ago so I ordered a new wideband. Crazy how small these things are now.

Painted my knuckles and did the shim selection procedure. Cobbled together a tool out of stuff in the tool room at work and 5/8 bolt/hardware. Ended up with a 13 shim in one side and had to slightly sand down a 12 for the other.
Didn't realize I grabbed a cheap bolt till halfway through the first knuckle. Started to stretch and wouldn't torque over 150.

^ oops!
Just out of curiosity, can you get an accurate measurement of the gap between the outer races and see how that correlates with the "correct" shim? I'm working on a theory.Trees aren't kind to me...
