Before putting the cams in you'll want a better Damper. The factory one doesn't help past 6800rpm and you'll beat your bearings to death. Also, stay away from light flywheels. You'll get more top end from a good head deshroud too. Follow the SCCA spec Miata instructions for that.
Another tip; if you're using that Miata PNP, adapt that JDM plenum to run a Miata throttle body. The b6t one is smaller and I think it'll be a restriction over 7500rpm. This is just theory, as I haven't had a chance to test the difference side by side.
