She fired up and ran!!! the tune is way off on it. Thats to be expected as its a used ecu from another setup. But i think i flooded it messing around with it. I just need it to idle then i can set timing and have it tuned. Why are you moving the battery all the way back there?Driving for me is neither a right nor a privilege. I decided to leave the battery. I got rid of the VAF box and picked up a nice cone filter to replace it. I now have more room for the battery. Today im going to mount a new battery try and get the battery swapped out.
I put a new coil and new igniter on last night and got my spark back Just gotta figure out my tps wires and im done.1990 (LUCIFER 2.0) fully built BP+T with E153, Fueltech FT500, traction control with hopes of 600hp (i drank to much of the KOOL-AID)

Good choice. There are a lot of reasons to leave the battery in the engine compartment and no good reason to move it.
I would switch to a smaller AGM powersports battery. I use a Deka ETX12 battery in my cars. It's much smaller and lighter than the stock battery and they are cheaper too. I paid 45 bucks for my last one on eBay.

^What he said.
Mine is an even cheaper off brand deal, and it works fine too. Sat all winter and started right up without a jump or charge.
Beer for scale. lol
And my DIY tray for stock location.

My issue now is the igniter keeps getting hot and going out.
Advancedynamix can you show me a picture of how you have setup the igniter in the past?1990 (LUCIFER 2.0) fully built BP+T with E153, Fueltech FT500, traction control with hopes of 600hp (i drank to much of the KOOL-AID)
