Would welding washers change the sway bars tension?
Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
Yes. It could also cause the sway bar to crack or snap. Welding on spring steel is highly discouraged. Ryal did that as a temporary fix, but no longer uses that setup.

I thought so I don't think my sway bar is shifting but I'll definitely check it out better safe than sorry

Check your inner control arm bushings. I've had them fail many times. Check to make sure that the arm is still centered on the bushing.

I never understood why people liked wide body cars so much. Like when I see "widebody everything" im just like what in the world. Not trying to insult just wondering why people like widebody and why you would go out of your way to do this. is it for looks/style or what?

Just for looks. My brother had a honda crx that was a foot and a half wider than stock. Looked pretty good actually from 100yds away or so, lol.
What is your secret to the added girth in such a short time? What are you putting on it?

My impulse buy of my 16x8.5 no offset wheels is the reason of me needing to flair as my fenders and tires were in a constant war the coilover made the suspension soft again so I needed to make some body adjustments

I cut along the top ridge of the body line I didn't want to completely destroy the cars lines like most wide bodies after the top was cut I did a slash down to the wheel arch I arched the fenders around the tires (went a lil too far) then patched in with sheet metal

So I adjusted my camber more got my driver side to -4° and tried bringing my passenger side down from -5.6° to -4° but when I tightened everything and put the car down it was still -5.6° so I'll have to try again but my torque steer (which was terrible before) is non existent now pulls in a perfect straight line so much that it feels very slow unless you watch the speedometer

Check it again after driving around. It sounds like you nailed it. Maybe the car wasn't settled when you checked it. The E brake can do funny things to the chassis when you lift and lower it.

I did check it again and it is spot on 4.92 degrees both sides damn good guess when I just pulled on the wheel and retighten it lol
So I had a race against a 400hp 7.3 and we were perfectly even so now that the car pulls straight it's time for more HP
so I have a big cone filter on an intake and a good exhaust system
So I'm going for bang for buck but I don't want to do anything riggy and I don't have 2500 for a good turbo setup I'm thinking some cam work is the exhintake swap worth it? Or just get a set of cams and go to a quality regrind shop? What would you guys suggest for lift overlap and duration I'm looking around I'll report here with anything I find but picking brains is usually pretty fast for info
