Festiver did very well doing a cold start ran all 4 cyls instantly and idled at 600 rpm so smooth noticed a slight hesitation when bumping the throttle but my thinking is it's still cold didn't run her for very long just wanted to test how she ran

Ok so went to get the car up to temp make sure the cooling system is finished and the thermostat didn't seem to want to open weird since it was working fine in the other engine and the original thermostat didn't want to open either but it bench tested fine idk whats going on here

Possibly not enough coolan? The T stat won't open in air, so if you've got a bubble stuck in there it won't open. Did you use a dual element t stat?

Oh maybe and yeah I'm trying to use the factory dual but I ran it with no thermostat and my pump is good so how do a put the thermostat in without getting an air bubble? Or just try again and hope it works

I squeeze the upper radiator hose to burp it. Squeeze it a bunch of times. Then, when you start the engine, leave the cap off and keep topping off the radiator while the engine warms up. Finally, when it stops burping out air and won't take any more water I rev the engine till about 3k rpm, the coolant level should drop a bit in the radiator. While the engine is at 3k rpm, I fill the radiator to the top of the filler and put the cap on and then I let it go back to idle. If you let off the throttle with the cap off the radiator it'll spill out when the engine goes back to idle. So make sure you get the cap back on before you let off the throttle. This is my method, and seems to always work.

did some wire clean up came out better than I was expecting now I'm not embarrassed of my engine bay wiring lol also fitted the new extremely large air cleaner I'm thinking that's a relatively cool area when driving I want to redo the piping in PVC or maybe charge piping kit?

Just had my buddy bump the throttle with me behind it. Sounds much better than I thought very deep and aggressive with very little whiny farting I'm happy with it
