There are a few things that will cause that (assuming tires are in good condition and not over inflated). First is poor suspension setup and chassis alignment settings. Second is not setting up properly for the corner, third is not going fast enough into the corner.
The brake input should be smooth on and off. If your slamming the brakes and lifting quickly, the front will be unsettled and it won't grab. Smooth steering wheel input is important too. This all comes with practice and you can't expect to be good at it on your first try. You won't know how fast it'll turn in until you've spun it around in circles.
